Location

Margaret River is located 300 km south of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia. The Margaret River area can be access by car, bus, aeroplane and train.

Driving Directions

From Perth either take the popular Coast Road which heads south from Fremantle as the Rockingham Road. The Coast Road is part of Highway 1. Alternatively, take the southern freeway system out of Perth heading directly to Mandurah, a delightful river town with shady picnic areas under the Morton Bay fig trees.

Head on from Mandurah to Bunbury, an approximately 2 hour drive. Bunbury is a great place to stop and explore the heritage buildings. Heading further south for 30 mins takes you to Busselton, a bustling coastal town with great cafes and restaurants. Although worth a visit there is a Busselton by-pass for those in a hurry.

10km out of Busselton take the left hand turn to Margaret River. Margaret River is 20 mins drive after the turn off.
